I finaLLy got my Christmas present in mid January, new pots and pans, but I also enjoyed the cardboard packing rings.

And yes, I reaLLy saved them in my cardboard collection.

Yes, I have a collection of cardboard.

A Bridge Over Shadowed Snow

I shot these two photos of snow in the shadows of a bridge. The foot bridge at Huber Park nearby runs east and west, so the sunlight burned off some of the snow leaving very interesting patterns.

You can even see the effect of the vertical posts of the south (left) side of the bridge where it makes some of the snow patches be slightly longer. Look at the 3rd and 11th patches of snow; they are a little bit longer to the left. If you look carefully farther down the bridge you can even see the effect of the neXt vertical post.
